Maybe you’ve had one or more of the following thoughts...

  • My job has served me well, but I’m not sure it’s still the right fit for me
  • I’d like to feel free of depression and anxiety
  • Parenting is a real challenge and I can use some help!
  • My daughter suffers from anorexia and I can’t find a therapist to work with her
  • I received a cancer diagnosis and don’t know how to cope
  • My spouse and I have grown apart, we’ve lost our emotional connection.
  • Is this all there is to life? I feel like I’m just going through the motions...
As you can see, Psychoanalysis is not just for severe issues. Regardless of the level of the challenges you’re experiencing, I can help you find the answers you’re looking for. I pursued Psychoanalysis first with a five year certification program at the Philadelphia School of Psychoanalysis and then with a doctorate in Psychoanalysis at the Union Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio.

In fact, my patients know from our first meeting that I love people, I am passionate about my work, and that I am equipped to handle the most difficult issues as well as the more common, everyday difficulties we all experience from time to time.

Some people come to see me after trying other types of therapy, and are now looking for a more in depth approach--and lasting results. What they find is that, because Psychoanalysis gets to the root of their problems, it can provide a deeper level of awareness and healing than they have experienced in the past.

And, although Psychoanalysis is serious work – it isn’t unusual to hear laughter coming from the office as my patients and I discover ways to find the humor in the work and to embrace positive facets of their lives.

At the end of the day, I often realize I have learned as much from my patients as they have learned from me.
